Bobbie Young

With love and deep remembrance, we celebrate the beautiful life of Bobbie Young, who peacefully departed this life on May 7th, 2026. Born on August 20, 1952, in Chicago, Bobbie was a woman whose warmth, strength, and vibrant spirit touched everyone blessed to know her.

Bobbie dedicated much of her life to caring for others through her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her compassion and nurturing heart were reflected not only in her profession, but in the love, she poured into her family and friends every day.

She found joy in life’s simple pleasures — listening to music, shopping, getting her nails done, and sharing laughter and memories with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bobbie also had a playful love for money and never missed an opportunity to enjoy herself and celebrate life in her own special way.

Above all, Bobbie cherished her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose presence brought comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Cecil and Legurtha; her brothers, Cecil Jr. and Glen; and her sisters, Ruby, Daisy, and Annette.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted son, Sean Young, and daughter-in-law, Latonya Young; her beloved granddaughters, Tamika and Tashawna; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Kyree and Dreshawn. She also leaves behind her loving sisters Earnestine (Richard), Shirley, Mae, and Linda; her brother Robert (Lillie); along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends and special friend Yvonne Moore who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we rejoice in knowing that Bobbie’s love and legacy will continue to live on through the family she adored so deeply.
