Debra Ann Davis, Lovingly known as "Debbie," was borarn

December 23, 1957, in Chicago to Charles Davis Sr. and Margaret Rodriguez-Davis. Debbie was the second born of two very special children. Then Margaret blessed them both with a beautiful sister, Charlene Davis.

Debra accepted Christ Jesus as her Lord and Savior at a young age. She was raised in a faith-filled home where her God sent parents held church services inside their home at 3109 W. Lexington on the West Side of Chicago. Those early teachings helped shape the compassionate, loving, and faithful woman she became.

Debbie attended Bethune Elementary School and later graduated from Westinghouse High School. Throughout her life, Debbie worked many jobs, but her true passion was caring for others, which ultimately led her into the home healthcare field. She had a natural gift for making people feel loved, safe, and cared for. The compassion she carried within her heart was poured not only into her family, but also into perfect strangers who eventually became friends and extended family.

n her free time, Debbie enjoyed playing cards and po-keno with family and friends, where laughter, conversation, and love filled every room she entered. She also loved taking trips to the casino, something that brought her excitement, fun, and cherished moments with the people closest to her. Debbie's vibrant spirit, warm heart, and joyful presence made her unforgettable to everyone blessed to know her

Debbie was proceeded in death by her grandmother Lottie, her parents, Charles and Margaret Davis. Her God sent parents, Vandy and Annie Hudson, Big Brother Charles Jr. ("Junebug"), her Brother and Sister Leon and Linda, her first born grandson Alchaun ("Mohawk"), and many more that she loved dearly.

She leaves cherished and loving memories to her three phenomenal children, Eric(Josephine), Chauntay and Sabrina. A special Neice Tiffany, five beloved grandchildren who were her pride and joy, A'Shanti, Aleayah, Samere, Unique, and Erianna. One very special great grandchild, Xolanii.
