Dorothy J. Collier

Dorthy J. Collier was born on July 17, 1942, in Birmingham, Alabama, to her parents, Sue Ethel and ST, who preceded her in death.

Dorthy was a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and most of all, a friend to many. She graduated from Lucy Flowers High School in Chicago, Illinois.

Dorthy spent much of her time with her family, whom she loved dearly. She especially enjoyed playing the lottery, particularly instant scratch-off tickets. You could bring Dorthy a cold orange drink and some good food, and she would be happy.

Dorthy was preceded in death by six of her sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Anna May Burns; her four children, Leonard, Vanessa, Andrea, and Andre; 15 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
