Kenisha Watkins was born on January 31, 1990 and she was not alone! She came into this would with a twin brother to meet her parents Denise Watkins and Sherman Williams.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Kenisha spent her childhood years in Marietta, Georgia, where she attended both grade school and Marietta High School. While there she grew up surrounded by her brothers, family, laughter, and lifelong friends. As an adult, she returned to Chicago, a city that always held a special place in her heart, where she continued to build a life centered on raising her own family and being with her cousins.
Kenisha was a bold yet vibrant spirit. She loved being outside and hanging with her friends and favorite cousin. You can always count on her to "tell it like it is" cause much like her mom she Kenisha did not sugar coat anything and would say whats on her mind. She had a feisty attitude that made her unforgettable and a strength that could be felt by those around her.
When she was not spending time with family everyone knew Kenisha was doing whatever was needed for her kids. They were the center of her world and despite the challenges in life she was faced with her love for for them was unconditional. Her legacy will be through her children that she thought the world of.
As her moms only daughter she shared a unique and cherished bond with her brothers. Her connection with them especially her twin Ken and Rocky, were built on love, loyalty, and countless memories that she carried with her throughout her life.
Recently, Kenisha endured the heartbreaking loss of her beloved brother Rocky. The bond they shared was immeasurable, and his passing left a profound void in her heart. She carried that sorrow, until she joined him in their final resting place.
Kenisha fell into an eternal sleep on May 25, 2026.
She was preceded in death by her dad Sherman Williams, brother Rocky, grandmother Mildred Watkins and five uncles.
She leaves behind to cherish her unforgettable memories, her mother Denise, her six children; Kaniya, Kendall, Kentrell, Kentrone, Kanireyae, Kentara 6 brothers; Ken, Sequentis Michael, Timothy, Antione, and Sherman 3 sisters Sincerae, Siarra and Lashanda 3 aunts Denal, Priscilla and Emma 3 uncles Calvin, Larry and Michael 4 nieces, 2 nephews, and her favorite cousin Tika as well as a host of cousins, family and friends that will miss her forever.
