Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Mary Underwood; his beloved son, Aaron Underwood; and his sister, Susan "Suzie" Johnson.

Following graduation, he proudly answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in 1972. That same year, he married the love of his life, Zenaida Underwood. Together they built a loving home and were blessed with five children: Aaron, Chantay, Carmelita, La Traina, and Larry Naggi Underwood. Later in life, Larry's family continued to grow, and he was blessed with five additional children.
Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose greatest joy was his family. He was a source of strength, wisdom, and unwavering support, always placing the needs of those he loved before his own. Whether sharing stories, offering guidance, or simply spending time with his loved ones, Larry treasured every moment and took immense pride in watching his family flourish through the generations.
