Makita Alilyah Lynn Davis

Makita Alilyah Lynn Davis was born on November 26, 1999 to Fredica Marsh and Antoine Gentry.

Makita accepted Christ at Universal Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Larry McClinton.

Makita attended West Side Holistic High School where she earned a diploma and continued her education in Pharmaceutical Technology. Makita was currently a Supervisor at Securtias.

Makita was a very selfless person who was always willing to help others even while going through her own struggles. She was very sweethearted with the funniest personality and the most unhinged jokes. She loved spending quality time with her family and friends; cooking, baking and being the life of the party.

Makita fulfilled her earthly journey on October 3, 2026. She is preceded in death by her two Great-Grandmothers, Willie B Conerly and Geneva Sandifer; Two Great- Grandfathers, Willie Smith and James Sandifer and her oldest brother, Junior Gentry.

Makita leaves to cherish her memory; two children, Jabriel and Liyah; Her mother, Frederica (Kisha); Grandparents, Vickie and Carl Dozier; Her Pops, Walter Conerly; Siblings: Marquon, Matasia, Makyah, Marquise and Marissa; Aunt, Caurice Banks (Demson); Uncles, Carl Jr. and David; Godmother, Tunisha Sandifer; Godbrothers, Keshan Ramsy and Marquiez Coleman; Special Friend, Louis Webster; Her favorite cousin, Jakeiera and a host of family members and favorite friends.
