Mary A. Thomas

Mary Hadley was born to the proud parents of Rufus and Beatrice Hadley on September 13, 1937. She accepted our Lord and Savior at an early age.

On June 23, 1957 Mary married the love of her life, Jerry Thomas. Together they raised eight children, Frankie (Mary), Amos, Vivian, Betty, John (Mary), Yvette, Sherry (Glenn) and Gerome. Not only was she mother to her eight chikdren, but she also became a mother to most of her grandchildren.

Mary Thomas was one of the most loving and caring person that anyone known. Mary worked as a caregiver, where her kind and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many. Afterward, she chose to dedicate herself to her home and family as a devoted stay-at-home wife, creating a loving and welcoming home for those she cherished.

Mary departed this life to be home with the lord on July 6, 2026. She was preceded in death by her Husband Jerry Thomas, Parents Rufus and Beatrice Hadley, Six brothers Rufus, Paul,Bill, Doba, Ozie and Jimmy, one Sister Betty Hadley, Three children Vivian, Betty and Gerome, two grandchildren Porsher, Tony and One great grandchild Anthony Watkins, and her daughter in law Nonnie.

Mary's love, warmth and enduring spirit will love on in the hearts of those she loved so deeply. She leaves to cherish memory: children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other relatives and dear friends.
