Pearlie Mae Smith Loving known as Pearl was born to the union of George and Annie Washington on November 19, 1942, in Helena Arkansas. Pearl was a hard-working woman devoted to her children and grandchildren pearl loved to listen to her music and Aretha Franklin and Prince was her favorite. Pearl confessed in Christ at an early age. MT Olive Baptist Church.

Pearl Moved to the southside of Chicago in 1957. Pearl was united in holy matrimony to Billy Smith. She Graduated from Wendell Phillips High School. During her life’s in journey in Chicago, she worked as Dietary Supervisor at several facilities. Michael Reese

Hospital, Columbus Chicago Canter Hospital to name a few. Pearl relocated to Mundelien IL in 2001 where she worked at Bayside

Terrace Nursing facility for 28 years. Until her health began to fail Pearl was called Home by our heavenly Father. On April 8, 2026.

Pearl was preceded in death by Her father and Mother George and Annie Washington 1 grandson Michael T. Washington Jr, 4 brothers George Washington Willie Ed Washington John

Washington, A.J Washington 2 Sister Willamatte Thorton and Bettye Harden.

Pearl leaves to cherish her memory. Husband Billy Smith; 1 Son Micheal Washington; 2 Daughter Dorothy Evens And Lisa Smith; 12 Grandchildren Michael Washington, Sharina

Washington, Shondra Washington, Titeana Washington, Marquis Washington, Richard Washington, Felicia Flores, Lashundra Murry, Lamont Murry, Melissa Stanciel Jones (Jadan) Jermario Patterson; 31 Great Grandchildren; 4 Sisters Mildred Martin, Mary Jenkins, Diane Washington, and Annie Mickles (Shelby) and Special friend Nancy Mc Carthy. She also leaves host of nieces, nephew’s, cousins, relatives & friends.
