Salvador H. Valdez

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Salvador H. Valdez, who passed away on October 10, 2026, at the age of 78.

Salvador was born on April 25, 1948, in Bani, Dominican Republic. He spent many years serving his community as a firefighter, dedicating a significant part of his life to helping others. He later made his way to Chicago, Illinois, where he continued his life's journey and built lasting memories with his family.

Salvador leaves behind a legacy that will continue through the generations of his family. He is survived by his son, Antonio Valdez, and his daughters, Lynnette Valdez and Dannette Valdez.

He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Anthony, Ashley, Armani Valdez, Tish, Omyra, Artino, Damaris, Joselito, and Jose Delvalle; and his great-grandchildren: Azel, Amias, Gabriel, and Khrome Valdez.

His family was an important part of his legacy, and his memory will continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Though his passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, the memories of his life and the generations that follow him will ensure that he is never forgotten.
