Willie B. (Betta) Kitchen was born on October 31, 1952, in Walls, Mississippi, to Louise Dean and William Johnson, who preceded her in death. Willie stepped out into the water at an early age in 1960 under the leadership of the late Rev. R.C. McCray.
Then the Lord said, "Go ye forth and be fruitful". From Willie's tree came six fruits: Baby Boy, Tracy, Nathaniel (Serena), Terra (Stanley), Taffie (Ronald), and her baby girl Tiffany. From their trees came her grandchildren: kwan, Luvina, Louise, Terry, Tre'mayne, Nathaniel Jr., Qwamaine (Shatoya), Anaina, Tynatsia, Tywon (Jessica), Tavonja, Willie, Tyreonna , Terrion, Tracie, Tyron, Terrance, Taphany, Tykwan, Tajontae, T'Shawn, T'Shawnda, Falonnzo, Christopher, Tyron, Tyshay and Tiphany. From her grandchildren, Willie was blessed with many many great grand children.
While traveling through time, she stopped and made Joshua M.B. Church her next home under the leadership of founder Rev. C.L. White Sr. Willie served on the Usher Board under the leadership of Sister Grace Morton.
The Angels smiled on her in the comfort of her home on May 18, 2026.
Willie had family she loved deeply who preceded her in death: two sisters, Rena and Martha, one brother, Berlin, one son, Baby Boy, one daughter, Taffie, and a nephew, Leslie. She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband Henry Webster, two sisters, Regina (Eugene) and Jackie of Memphis. One brother, Leroy (Ruth). One "FAITH" Aunt, Luvina, the backbone of the family, one uncle Ellis of Memphis. Nieces: Yolanda, Jessica, Chere (Kelvin). Nephews: Jimmie, Antwarn (Lashandra), Wesley (Shanda), Jeremy, Jonathan (Chelsea) and Antonio. Four bonus daughters; Demetria (Andre), Barbara Land, Kenya Thomas, and Yolanda King. Two bonus sisters: Florence Kitchen and Von Macon and a host of family and friends.
To all my cousins, I Love You. I Love you Sis. I had an exciting life with momma and Martha. Now lam home to really live. No more tears and no more pain. Thank you to all my neighbors and friends who helped us.
